DIY - Replacing damaged lace

I have a Sandro shirt that I love, but I've made the mistake of ironing it at an elevated temperature and as the lace was made out of a synthetic thread, it melted.

Here it's a tutorial of how to replace damaged lace.

J'ai une chemise Sandro que j'aime beaucoup, mais j'ai fait l'erreur de la repasser à une température un peu trop élevée et la dentelle qui était faite avec un fil synthétique a fondu.

J'ai fait donc un petit tutoriel sur comment remplacer une dentelle abimée.

        Here is the state of the shirt before my intervention.

        Voici l'état de la chemise avant mon intervention.

Using a ripper and scissors I removed the lace, being careful of keeping the oversewed edges.

A l'aide d'un découvit et des ciseaux on enlève la dentelle, en prenant soin de conserver les bords surfilés.

I superimposed the new lace and I secured it with needles. Then I stitched the lace as close to the edge as possible, without overflowing on the fabric.
On superpose la nouvelle dentelle et on la fixe avec des aiguilles. On pique ensuite la dentelle au plus près du bord, sans déborder sur le tissu.

Here is the result. But it remains to be done also the finishing of the collar.
Voici le résultat. Il reste cependant à faire la finition du col.

For that I utilise the ripper in order to hide the lace under the fabric of the collar.
Pour cela on utilise le découvit pour cacher la dentelle dans le tissu du col.
